MESSY CHURCH
Messy Church is an intentionally intergenerational place for people to meet and experience fun and messy ways to engage in faith, including crafts and activities, creative storytelling, song, and a shared meal.
It's an all-ages together worship experience as you've never seen worship before!
Third Fridays, 6:00 - 8:00 pm
(doors open at 5:30 pm for those who wish to gather before activities begin)
Who is Messy Church for?
Everyone! People of all ages are welcome to come and participate in this family-friendly, faith-building gathering! Whether you are in church every week or have never been to church before, there is space for you here as everyone is encouraged to interact with the activities in a flexible, supportive environment! (Children must be accompanied by an adult)
What is taught at Messy Church?
Faith formation topics and Bible stories are explored in ways that invite our whole messy selves into God's story of the good news of Jesus Christ - that we are freed and forgiven in God's abundant grace and that God's love is for us, all of us.
At Messy Church, we are invited to bring our whole selves - our hearts, our voices, and our bodies to the celebration of God's creative goodness and transformative love.

What happens at Messy Church?
We gather around a free, shared family meal (Please contact us ahead of time for any dietary restrictions or need for safe foods. You are also welcome to bring your own food to eat.). As we eat, questions are prompted to begin to engage in the topic of the day. After dinner, participants are invited to discover and explore the faith theme of the day through a variety of guided activities and crafts. Families are invited to move through the activities at their own pace. We end our time together with a lively, guitar-led, interactive time of celebration focused on the theme. For those who benefit from them, a social story for the evening is available.
