With all of those animals, the story of Noah and the ark is a fun one to tell! Its message is an important one. God makes a promise in the Noah story to love us and all the animals of the earth. God makes other promises in the Bible, too. For instance, God promises to love us always, no matter what. You can’t get away from God’s love! God promises to always be with us—especially when we are in some kind of trouble. And here’s the thing about God’s promises: God always keeps them. When God makes a promise, you can count on it absolutely. You can always count on God.
Drop-off begins at 9:30am. The program begins at 10:00am. We will have a closing worship beginning at 3:30pm to which parents and guardians are invited. We will conclude the day at 4:00pm.
Children will be in small groups divided by age. Lunch and snacks are provided. Use the registration form to inform us of any allergies or concerns.
SPLASH into God's Promise helps children approach this dramatic story through interactive storytelling, activities, and crafts in a way that is family-friendly for all ages. Space is limited for this free event, so register today!
What to Expect
Participatory Storytelling
Learn a story of God's Good News as children move through different stations around the church and grounds, helping to tell the story as they learn and read from Scripture.
Faith Formation
Children will engage with what God's Good News means to them and how the story of the day enriches the way we live in faith every day.
Interactive Activies and Crafts
Elements of the story will be reimagined in ways for children to actively engage in the story through music, science, art, games, and more for all ages.
Fun for All Ages
Activities are designed so that children of all ages can participate in ways that are approachable and meaningful for them wherever they are in life with other children their age.
Who is Invited?
SPLASH into God's Word is free and open to all people regardless of church membership or affiliation. Whether you read the Bible each night with your children or you've never owned one, you are invited and welcomed at SPLASH into God's Word! This program is designed for parents/guardians to drop off their kids.
