YES WORSHIP
What if worship was specially designed for our young worshipers? What if wiggles were not just tolerated but celebrated and incorporated? What if people of all ages were invited to not just sit in the pews, but use their whole bodies to explore God's Good News in experiential, participatory, exploratory worship?
YES Worship is just that!
Designed for families with young children, this worship service invites and encourages the entire family to explore, experience, and engage in worship in mind body and soul so that all may know "Your Example Shines!"
It's an all-ages together worship experience that brings liturgy and worship practices to life in a whole new way!
First Sunday of every month
4:00 - 4:45 pm

What happens at YES Worship?
YES Worship follows the pattern of worship that Christians have followed for hundreds of years - We gather together; we hear the Word from scripture; we celebrate Holy Communion; and we are sent our into the world to let our light shine! We follow traditional elements of the Lutheran pattern of worship, but with a child-like approach to everything through simple songs and lots of interactive elements including incorporation of our bodies and visual storytelling from scripture.

Who is YES Worship for?
Everyone! People of all ages are welcome to come and participate in this family-friendly worship service. Whether you are in church every week or have never been to church before, this service offers a relaxed, flexible environment for families to explore worship in the Lutheran tradition.

How do children participate?
No one is ever forced or expected to do anything, but everyone is invited to do everything. From helping to set the table for communion to serving the bread and juice, from lighting the candles to carrying the cross, from telling the Bible story to praying with voices and bodies, children (and the adults that come with them) are invited to help with every element of the service. At YES Worship, every "Can I help?" is met with an enthusiastic YES!
